Finance Map

It becomes increasingly clear that the changes to my class content made last February – highlighting the importance of investment platforms and the growth of credit markets – were very timely.

October will almost be as busy for me as it was last year, and November will be even busier, as so many of my clients like me to meet and converse with their new intakes as soon as possible after their arrival in the firm.

Five Finance Map classes were enjoyed at five different firms – three law firms and two wealth managers – helping 56 young professionals to understand the precise activities of the financial institutions with which they deal.

This huge law firm uses Finance Map twice each year to give all its new trainees the best possible springboard into their roles. This month’s class number of 30 exceeded the attendance number of 28 back in February.

Wealth management firms have clearly become my second most important client category, as the Finance Map class focuses strongly on sell side firms and alternatives fund managers with which they are not always so familiar.

For many years I have offered shorter classes for groups of non-employees, usually interns or student groups invited to visit companies during the summer. I am happy to reduce the length of the class – and offer a reduced price – for these younger audiences.
