ADVANCING FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE
NEWS FROM FINANCE MAP
June 2023 – Communications client
This major firm once again asked me to reduce my class from three to two hours – for their busiest senior employees – and I feel I have refined the shortened version so that it flows as smoothly as the traditional longer one.
June 2023 – Varied classes for lawyers
I have just one client that uses me for remote sessions only, and an afternoon class enabled them to include US and European lawyers – “Sorry, need to drop for another call. This is a wonderful programme. Thank you so much Matthew.”
May 2023 – Executive search firm
I taught Finance Map for a fourth consecutive year at this executive search firm, which specialises in working with family offices and asset managers, and there was good feedback again from a small class – “incredibly helpful and clear”.
May 2023 – Communications consultants
This communications firm has been a client for six years, and I taught my class to 11 young employees who are dealing all the time with financial firms and financial matters and wanted to learn more about both – “really incredibly useful”.
May 2023– Feedback on Financial Statements
This was good feedback from a class of 23 with a new client: “I also wanted to say a massive thank you again for your session yesterday. So far we’ve heard really positive feedback from attendees and partners regarding the session”.
April 2023 – Finance Map at a major bank
After nearly 600 classes over 8 years, I gave my first session at a major bank, and I will return there later this year. When banks are diversified across multiple activities, it is often valuable for employees in specialised roles to get an explanation of the broader picture.
