Finance Map

I taught my Financial Statements class three times at law firms during the month, and I am even more convinced that this topic can be effectively covered in three hours – “Great content and delivery with very useful examples”.

I visited for the second time this year my new major investment bank client, teaching professionals from their middle and back office, plus some recent “returners-to-work” – “Probably some of the best training I’ve had since working here!!”

I took a two-week holiday at a busy time of year, but I still had time to teach Finance Map six times – to trainees and associates at four different law firms (one online) and to support functions at my two top financial institution clients

I have been working on my Financial Statements class, making some adjustments to the content, and matching the graphic design of the materials with that of my Finance Map class, as I often deliver the two sessions close together.

I taught my Leveraged Finance class to a London-based communications client, which enjoys a strong position with private equity firms and credit fund managers, and needed detailed knowledge of leveraged loans, mezzanine, private debt, CLOs and distressed debt markets.

After Asian PR professionals last month, in September it was Asia- and Australia-based lawyers attending my Finance Map class – a mixture of associates over Zoom from Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Sydney, meaning a very early start for me.
