Finance Map

I gave my second class this year for a client running a social mobility programme for students – in July it was a law firm and this time it was a leading wealth management firm.

My recent classes have included lively discussion of LDI managers and how they were caught with too much leverage against their gilt holdings after the September mini-budget.

An important sector for my classes is firms that provide intelligence and investigatory services, whose clients are often the financial firms I teach all about.

I taught Finance Map at two more of the global top 50 law firms (by revenue), bringing the total to 10 of the top 50 in the last twelve months.

I gave a Finance Map tutorial for a young student seeking a financial role when he leaves university – he was told about me by his sister, who had attended the company version of the class.

My old specialization, leveraged finance, seems to have become so mainstream that one very large firm uses the new class for first week trainees, the day after my Finance Map class.
