May 21 – Finance Map’s best month ever
A big month across all parts of the business. All four of my classes taught; sessions for five different law firms and insurance firms; one-on-ones with an investment bank job starter and a young wealth investor; biggest revenue month ever.
April 21 – Student Class Arranged by Rare Recruitment
I taught a 90-minute Finance Map class free of charge to 10 first-year university students interested in targeting jobs in financial firms. My audience was assembled by Rare Recruitment, a provider of career advice to students from diverse backgrounds.
April 21- Asset Manager Seeking Job Switch
I taught my new Leveraged Finance class to an experienced wealth manager interested in finding a role on the credit fixed income fund side of the market. This class allows me to teach about my own area of expertise before I founded Finance Map.
April 21 – Navigating Financial Statements Class
I delivered the Navigating Financial Statements class for two London law firms. These audiences are usually more senior lawyers who are expected to have basic understanding of balance sheets, P&L accounts and the key ratios.
March 21 – More bookings of my Leveraged Finance class
The Leveraged Finance class has been booked again – suitable for legal associates working in banking, high yield, corporate and private equity, and giving firms a chance to mix those teams together in the same session.
March 21 – Job-seeking brother and sister
I taught a young woman before her interview with a law firm, having previously taught her brother in January. “You waved your magic wand and both Kate and Dan got the job/internship they wanted!!”.
