Finance Map

Two City law firms took the Financial Statements class, with its improved emphasis on how the two key EBITDA – or adjusted EBITDA – multiples are used in financing and M&A transactions globally.

Online sessions work best with a smaller number of delegates, and I taught a lively Finance Map class for a magic circle firm to four associate lawyers based in Frankfurt, Singapore, Hong Kong and Shanghai.

I gave the Finance Map class to the corporate team – with some partners included – in a longstanding client law firm, and they have subsequently booked the Financial Statements class as well.

I gave three in-person Finance Map classes to trainee and associate lawyers at three different long term clients, one of which gave feedback: “I really believe this session was given in perfect detail, time and level”.

I taught a 2-hour online Finance Map class to the Finance group in a large firm, which attracted 70 lawyers from multiple locations – three times my usual maximum – and received “fantastic feedback”.

I now teach regular Finance Map classes at this major bank, with attendees very often from the wealth management side of the business, who can learn more about the different buy-side fund managers and the sell-side investment banks.
