Finance Map

I travelled to Paris to deliver my Finance Map class to the Digital team members of a major bank – more than 20 people had assembled from various locations, and a lively morning class was followed by further discussion over lunch.

I gave a session to a young entrepreneur with exciting plans to launch a new venture and raise seed capital from investors – there have now been a few occasions where I have been able to help people in this situation to re-affirm their understanding of financial matters and terminology.

I gave a class of 20 for a top law firm where the participation was as lively and as entertaining as I can remember since starting out – very cheering as I know how hard these trainees work.

My first class in January – Leveraged Finance for a law firm – was a hybrid session with a small number of delegates attending remotely. I find this works very well so long as those in the room outnumber the people on-screen.

I have received several more Financial Statements class bookings, so that these are now accounting about one third of my total sessions delivered, despite the competition from other providers – including accounting firms.
