Finance Map

I would like to send all readers of this website – and especially all current and past users of my four different classes from different sectors – my very best wishes for the new year ahead.

Almost half of my bookings for the first quarter of 2025 are for my Financial Statements class, where I have worked hard again to include everything useful in a single 3-hour session.

I have made small amendments to the content of my Finance Map class, mainly to recognise the ever-increasing importance of credit markets for many institutional investors.

Having taught at 8 different law firms in September and October, I added 2 more (two classes for each) in November – clearly comprehensive 3-hour sessions are ideal for time-poor professionals.

I generally teach twice a year at this firm, which provides strategic communications advice to lots of financial clients – this is clearly the second most important sector for my business.

After two trainee classes last month, this month I taught Finance Map at a record six different other law firms; and I taught Financial Statements at one of those six – with a second booked for November.
